Daughters of Faith
Daughters of Faith is an original Fox and Pebble illustration by Malory Fiso
The Bible is filled with incredible, faithful women—women who walked through trials, trusted God, and played key roles in His story. This painting brings together some of those women, walking side by side with Jesus, just as we are invited to do today.
Jesus spoke to the outcast, healed the suffering, welcomed the faithful, and honored the courageous. He didn’t see them as lesser—He saw them as valuable, worthy, and deeply loved.
Each woman here has a story. Eve reminds us to fulfill the purposes God has prepared for us. Mary, the mother of Jesus, shows us what it means to surrender to God’s calling. Mary Magdalene is a testament to the power of Jesus’ love to heal and restore. Ruth and Naomi show the beauty of loyalty and faithfulness. The Samaritan Woman reminds us that Christ sees us past our labels, and that He does not define us by where we’ve been. Esther demonstrates courage to step into God’s purpose. The woman with the issue of blood teaches us to reach for Jesus, believing He is our true source of healing.
These women—so different, yet all deeply known by Jesus—are a reflection of us today. We, too, are invited to walk with Him. No matter our past, no matter our struggles, He sees us, He calls us, and He walks with us every step of the way.
