This image has been on my mind for years, and I’m so excited to finally share the finished version of it with you for Christmas this year.

In the account of Christs birth from Luke 2 the words “and they came with haste” are used to describe the shepherds response to receiving the news of His birth.

These words come to my mind each time I ponder the miracle of His birth, His life, His teachings, and His invitation to each one of us to follow Him.

Their immediate response, leaving quickly to find the newborn Savior, demonstrates their faith and eagerness to witness the fulfillment of the angel’s message firsthand. It highlights their enthusiasm and the priority they placed on encountering Jesus, emphasizing a reverent and joyful obedience.

Is my attitude the same? Am I eagerly and enthusiastically running toward Christ every day?

I wanted to create a piece that could serve as a reminder all year to run to Him “with haste”
